Our lamps are designed and produced by hand in Copenhagen.

 

Our father draws while talking on the phone - never understood how he can manage.​

Morten Mernøe's ideas are on paper - his sketches in 3D. Our design process typically starts, when he presents a couple of ideas in the studio. We discuss the potential of each one, and agree to which should be our next project. 

​

Next is modelling. Our prototype is always made in true materials to come as close to the final product as possible. This is where we sense how the materials act when they meet form and function. Usually a quite long process, that require severeal hours of customizing parts in our workshop. We always display the latest prototype in our showroom as well as leftover materials from the design process. 

​

Our lamps are made to order, offering the option to customize the materials from a selection of different woods and metals. We also customize dimensions, suspension system, LED and surface treatment depending on the client project. We work with amazing local artisans, who deliver our raw parts, while we pollish and assemble everything ourselves wearing white gloves.

Our studio is our second home. And you are always welcome.
